THE LOVELY FILMS ANIMATED INTERVIEW COLLECTION

In 2010 I worked on a series of animations aimed at bringing speeches to life, below are a couple of examples that show how with some simple animation and a few ideas we can really breathe new fire into an old speech.

SNOW CLEARING INFORMATION FOR RESIDENTS PROJECT

Informative piece produced with the intention of streaming on Council website and broadcasting on local television stations in order to inform residents of Prince George, British Columbia how snow clearing efforts were regulated during winter months.

KICKED MYSELF DATING PROMOTIONAL PROJECT

Promotional project for London based missed connections web-site Kicked Myself Dating. The first video was recorded with online promotion in mind, to be sent out to potential clients to give them an idea of how the site would work. It was filmed on location in London at a groovy little bar called Be @ One and the soundtrack was recorded by Brazillian composer Ian Costabile especially for it.

This second video for KMD was filmed as part of a wider marketing campaign working in union with Marcel Deer at RedGlass consultancy, the idea was to spread the word about KMD to the very people that would be likely to use the service, the video is intended to drum up extra interest in the campaign and acts as a good example of how new ideas can be utilised to market our clients.

LOVELY FILMS STOP MOTION IDENT

Below is a short ident that we used last year to help with the Lovely Films branding, it came about having watched the intro’s to stylised American indie movies such as Napolean Dynamite and is a play on that kind of happy go lucky feeling. I’m really happy with the way this turned out and it will certainly be developed into a feature of future Lovely Films projects.
