Lovely Films

Lovely Films is the online home of film producer Andrew Gillooley. Having graduated from the Skillset Academy at John Moores University with an Honours Degree in Media Production Studies Andrew has gone on to work in various positions throughout the industry.

His career has seen him work on a wide range of projects both in the UK and in North America, this work has included broadcast television, online commercials, training videos, documentaries and short films. He is skilled in all aspects of production; able to produce, direct, script and edit across a large scope of formats to a high level.

Recent work has seen him involved in a number of commercial productions with On Reel Video Production and Video Nexus in Northern Canada, as well as producing and directing a documentary entitled ‘Words of Our Ancestors’, a story of beliefs and practices amongst First Nations People in British Columbia, due for release in late 2011.

Andrew also runs a creatiive agency in the UK based out of Liverpool, Progressive Creative Media, working on a series of projects with established local filmmakers, graphic artists, web designers and marketers. This has seen him project manage across a wide range of productions including music videos for The Good Intentions and Super-Cannes as well as working closely with Great Stories on a documentary based around growing up in 1950′s Liverpool entitled ‘My Fifties Liverpool’.
